This pumpkin ale starts sweet, has notes of pumpkin, spices, and grows very hoppy towards the end. The finish is incredibly spicy and has a pine aftertaste.
Overall 11/20
Brewed in Etobicoke, Great Lakes Brewery’s Pumpkin Ale is a very rough ale that seems like the pumpkin was added as an afterthought. It looks amazing, but the aroma, plate, and flavor, leave a lot to be desired. The spices and hops overwhelm the pumpkin and it finishes stronger then most India Pale Ales.
